- High Resistance Grounding

The Solid Grounding system is equipped with conductors that connect to the ground without any additional impedance.
These systems continue to be in use from the mid 1900’s till date. The Ungrounded system does not have an intended connection to the ground. These systems are reliable and offer a low current flow. However, such systems demand regular and vigilant maintenance. It is crucial to detect and repair the line to ground faults in time. A line to ground fault in the power line occurs when the conductor comes in contact with the ground due to flaws of the insulation. The electrical system can suffer significant damage in the occurrence of a second fault.
